Openers Soumya Sarkar's brilliant 91 and Saif Hassan's sparkling 80 before Bowlers attack helped to Bangladesh's record 179-run win against West Indies and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a one-sided series decider game of the third & final ODI.

Bangladesh's 179-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against West Indies in One-day international, previous biggest win by 160-runs at Khulna in 2012 and It is their second biggest win in ODIs after their 183-run win against Ireland at Sylhet in 2023. 176 : Saif Hassan and Soumya Sarkar set up the record first-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against West Indies in One-day international, previously held by the 144-run stand between Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar at Dublin in 2019 and the Bangladesh's second highest opening stand in ODIs, The highest is 292-run stand between Tamim Iqbal and Litton Das at Sylhet in 2020. Bangladesh's 296 was their fifth highest score against West Indies in One-day international and It is their joint sixth highest total at Mirpur in ODIs. West Indies' 117 was their third lowest score in a completed innings against Bangladesh in One-day international and It is their second lowest total at Mirpur in ODIs after their 112 against Pakistan in the 2011 World Cup.

Bangladesh scored 296-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Soumya Sarkar blasted a 91 off 86-balls - who fell nine-run short of his century.

Saif Hassan hammered a 80 off 72-balls including 6-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 111.11, Najmul Hossain Shanto cracked a 44 off 55-balls included 3-sixes.

Towhid Hridoy struck 28 off 44-balls including 2-fours, Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored a run-a-ball 17-runs included a boundary and Nurul Hasan hit a unbeaten 16 off 8-balls contained one-six & a four with strike rate of 200.

West Indies bundled out for 117 in 30.1 overs with top scorer by Akeal Hosein blasted a 27 off 15-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 180.

Brandon King hit 18 off 17-balls including 2-fours & a six, Alick Athanaze, Keacy Carty and Justin Greaves each scored 15-runs.

Bangladesh best bowler by Nasum Ahmed picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 6-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 1.83.

Rishad Hossain captured three-wickets for 54-runs in 9-overs, Tanvir Islam picked up 2-wickets for 16-runs in 8-overs with economy rate of 2 and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took two-wickets.

Soumya Sarkar named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 91 off facing 86-balls including 7-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 105.81.

Rishad Hossain earned player of the series for claiming 12 wickets in the three-match series.
