Captain Mitchell Marsh's record-breaking maiden T20I century powers Australia seal a three-wicket victory over New Zealand, despite a James Neesham's four-for and clinch the three-match series with 2-0 in the third & final T20I.

Mitchell Marsh became the first Australian batsman to score a century against New Zealand in T20I cricket history. Mitchell Marsh became the seventh Australian batsman to score a hundred in T20Is. Mitchell Marsh's unbeaten 103 was the joint ninth highest score for Australia in T20 international and the highest-score by an Australian batsman against New Zealand in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 98 held by Ricky Ponting at Auckland in the inaugural first-ever T20I match in 2005. Mitchell Marsh hammered a 21-ball his fastest fifty for Australia in T20 international and the joint second fastest fifty by an Australian batsman against New Zealand in T20Is, jointly with Cameron White. Mitchell Marsh equalled a joint seventh fastest century for Australia in T20Is, jointly with Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell. James Neesham's 4 for 26 was his second best bowling performance for New Zealand in T20 international and the second best-bowling-figures by an New Zealand bowler against Australia in T20Is after Lockie Ferguson's 4 for 12 at Auckland in the last year.

New Zealand scored 156-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tim Seifert struck 48 off 35-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 5-fours & 3-sixes.

Michael Bracewell cracked a 26 off 22-balls including 2-fours & a six, James Neesham blasted a 25 off 18-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 138.88 and Tim Robinson hit 13 off 10-balls contained one-six & a four.

Mitchell Marsh named Player of the match for his match-winning whirlwind batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 103-runs knocked off facing 52-balls including 8-fours & 7-sixes with strike rate of 198.07.
