Devon Conway's blazing half-century and Daryl Mitchell's scintillating 24-ball 41 before Three-wicket hauls from Ish Sodhi and Jacob Duffy helped to New Zealand narrow 9-run victory over West Indies, despite a Romario Shepherd - Shamar Springer's late blitz and New Zealand go up 2-1 lead in a see-saw game of the third T20I.

New Zealand's 9-run win was their second smallest victory by terms of runs against West Indies in T20Is after their 3-run win at Auckland earlier in this previous T20I game. 50 : Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra set up the fifth highest second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against West Indies in T20Is. New Zealand's 177 was their tenth highest score against West Indies in T20 international and It is their fourth highest total at Nelson in T20Is. 78 : Romario Shepherd and Shamar Springer set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for West Indies in T20 international, previously held by the unbeaten 72-run stand between Romario Shepherd and Akeal Hosein against England at Bridgetown in 2022 and the third highest ninth-wicket stand in T20Is.

New Zealand scored 177-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Devon Conway blasted a 56 off 34-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 164.70.

Daryl Mitchell hammered a 41 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 170.83, Rachin Ravindra hit 26 off 15-balls included 4-fours with strike rate of 173.33 and Tim Robinson scored 23 off 21-balls contained two-fours.

West Indies best bowler by Matthew Forde, Jason Holder both took 2-wickets and one for Romario Shepherd - Shamar Springer.

West Indies bowled out for 168 in 19.5 overs with top scorer by Romario Shepherd blasted a 49 off 34-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 144.11.

Shamar Springer hammered a 39 off 20-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 195, Alick Athanaze struck 31 off 23-balls included 5-fours & a six and Ackeem Auguste hit 24 off 16-balls contained 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 150.

New Zealand best bowler by Ish Sodhi picked up 3-wickets, Jacob Duffy captured three-wickets for 36-runs in 4-overs, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner and Kyle Jamieson each took one-wickets.

Ish Sodhi named Player of the match for his excellent spin bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 34-runs in 4-overs.
