Mohammad Wasim, Haris Rauf and Faisal Akram, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan helped to Pakistan convincing six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and clinch the three-match series with 3-0 whitewash in a low-scoring game of the third & final ODI.

  • This is the 17th time Pakistan have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in One-day international, It is first their 3-0 bilateral series clean sweep against Sri Lanka in ODIs and It is their fourth series whitewash against Sri Lanka in ODIs.
  • Pakistan chased 212 was their fourth lowest successful run-chase against Sri Lanka at their home venue in ODIs.
  • Sri Lanka's 211 was their second lowest score in a completed innings against Pakistan at Rawalpindi in One-day internationals after their 154 in 1992.
  • 100* : Mohammad Rizwan and Hussain Talat set up the eighth highest fifth-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Sri Lanka bowled out for 211 in 45.2 overs with top scorer by Sadeera Samarawickrama struck 48 off 65-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including two boundaries.

Kusal Mendis struck 34 off 54-balls including 3-fours, Pavan Rathnayake cracked a 32 off 37-balls included 2-fours & a six and Kamil Mishara hit 24 off 27-balls contained 4-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Wasim picked up 3-wickets, Haris Rauf, Faisal Akram both took 2-wickets and one for Shaheen Shah Afridi - Faheem Ashraf.

Pakistan chased 215-4 in 44.4 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Rizwan cracked a unbeaten 61 off 92-balls including 4-fours.

Fakhar Zaman blasted a 55 off 45-balls including 8-fours with strike rate of 122.22, Hussain Talat scored a unbeaten 42 off 57-balls included a boundary and Babar Azam hit 34 off 52-ball contained 4-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Jeffrey Vandersay picked up 3-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs and Maheesh Theekshana took one-wicket.

Mohammad Wasim named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 47-runs in 10-overs with economy rate of 4.70.
