Brian Bennett, Sikandar Raza, Brad Evans and Richard Ngarava guided Zimbabwe massive 67-run victory over Sri Lanka and earned two points in a one-sided game of the second match of a Triangular series.

Match Stats : 
  • Zimbabwe's 67-run win was their tenth largest victory by terms of runs against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • This is the first time Zimbabwe have defended the total against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • Zimbabwe's 162 was their fourth highest score against Sri Lanka in T20 international and It is their highest total at Rawalpindi in T20Is, previous highest was 156 against Pakistan in 2020.
  • 61 : Brian Bennett and Sikandar Raza set up the record third-wicket partnership for Zimbabwe against Sri Lanka in T20Is, previously held by the 56-run stand between Tadiwanashe Marumani and Sikandar Raza at Harare earlier in this year.
  • Sri Lanka's 95 was their ninth lowest score in a completed innings in T20 international and It is their second lowest-total against Zimbabwe in T20Is after their 80 at Harare earlier in this year.

Zimbabwe scored 162-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Brian Bennett blasted a 49 off 42-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 5-fours & a six.

Sikandar Raza blasted a 47 off 32-balls, Ryan Burl blasted a 18 off 11-balls included 2-sixes with strike rate of 163.63, Tashinga Musekiwa and Brendan Taylor each scored 11-runs.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 4-overs, Eshan Malinga captured two-wickets and one for Dushmantha Chameera - Maheesh Theekshana.

Sri Lanka bowled out for 95 in exact 20 overs with top scorer by Dasun Shanaka cracked a 34 off 25-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa hit 11 off 18-balls including a four and Kamindu Mendis scored a run-a-ball 9-runs without a boundary.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Brad Evans picked up 3-wickets for 9-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 2.25, Richard Ngarava captured 2-wickets, Ryan Burl, Graeme Cremer and Tinotenda Maposa each took one-wickets.

Sikandar Raza named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 1-wicket for 23-runs in 4-overs after scoring a quick-fire 47 off 32-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 146.87.
