Economical bowling figures from Dhruv Parashar and Junaid Siddique before Muhammad Shahdad's brilliant 96 and Muhammad Waseem's superb 76 leads to UAE convincing five-wicket victory over Nepal in the 90th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
Nepal scored 239-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Bhim Sharki struck 48 off 68-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 7-fours.
Kushal Malla cracked a 45 off 51-balls including 3-sixes & a four, Dipendra Singh Airee hit 37 off 43-balls included 3-fours & a six.
Aasif Sheikh struck 34 off 48-balls including 4-fours, Aarif Sheikh scored 30 off 54-balls included two boundaries and Sandeep Lamichhane hit a unbeaten 15 off 10-balls contained two-fours with strike rate of 150.
UAE best bowler by Dhruv Parashar, Junaid Siddique, Muhammad Jawadullah each took 2-wickets and one for Zahid Ali.
UAE chased 243-6 in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Muhammad Shahdad cracked a 96 off 123-balls - who fell four-run short of his century.
Muhammad Waseem blasted a 76 off 73-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 104.10, Sohaib Khan cracked a 29 off 52-balls included 3-fours and Alishan Sharafu hit 18 off 24-balls contained 2-fours & a six.
Nepal best bowler by Karan KC picked up 3-wickets, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Rajbanshi and Nandan Yadav each took one-wickets.
Muhammad Shahdad named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 96 off facing 123-balls including 6-fours and 3-sixes.
