Australia scored 269-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Michael Slater struck 66 off 76-balls including 9-fours.

Mark Taylor cracked a 56 off 71-balls including 6-fours, Michael Bevan blasted a unbeaten 53 off 42-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 126.19.

Mark Waugh cracked a 38 off 50-balls including 4-fours, David Boon scored 21 off 42-balls without a boundary and Debutant Phil Emery - who hit a unbeaten 11 off 13-balls on his debut ODI match - included a four.

Pakistan best bowler by Saleem Malik picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 10-overs with economy rate of 3.10, Aamer Sohail and Waqar Younis both took one-wickets.

Pakistan bowled out for 205 in 46.5 overs with top scorer by Basit Ali struck 63 off 64-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

Saleem Malik cracked a 35 off 44-balls including 3-fours, Wasim Akram hit 26 off 30-balls included 3-fours and Aamer Sohail struck 21 off 29-balls contained 2-fours & a six.

Australia best bowler by Glenn McGrath 5-52, Damien Fleming picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 8-overs including two maidens with economy rate of 4 and Mark Waugh took 2-wickets.

Glenn McGrath named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 52-runs in 10-overs.
