Kusal Mendis scored 26 off 45-balls including 2-fours and Dunith Wellalage hit 20 off 19-balls contained two-fours.

England best bowler by Joe Root captured 2-wickets for 12-runs in 2.3-overs, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid both picked up 2-wickets, Rehan Ahmed, Liam Dawson and Will Jacks each took one-wickets.

England chase down the target of 220, finishing at 223 for 5 in 46.2 overs with top scorer by Joe Root cracked a 75 off 90-balls, Harry Brook scored 42 off 75-balls including 2-fours.

Ben Duckett cracked a 39 off 52-balls included 2-fours & a six and Jos Buttler blasted a unbeaten 33 off 21-balls contained 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.14.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dhananjaya de Silva, Jeffrey Vandersay both took 2-wickets and one for Asitha Fernando.

Joe Root named Player of the match for his match-winning masterclass 75 off facing 90-balls including 5-fours.
