Subba Row said afterwards he made his decision because hundreds of spectators invaded the field as Bishop and his partner, Carl Hooper scrambled their two runs.




Pakistan scored 244-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Basit Ali struck 57 off 69-balls including 5-fours.

Inzamam-ul-Haq cracked a 53 off 91-balls including three boundaries, Aamer Sohail struck 33 off 51-balls included 5-fours.

Wasim Akram blasted a unbeaten 39 off 27-balls including 4-fours, Ramiz Raja hit 26 off 50-balls included four-fours and Rashid Latif scored 15 off 13-balls contained a four.

West Indies best bowler by Courtney Walsh captured 2-wickets, Carl Hooper, Anderson Cummins, Curtly Ambrose and Ian Bishop each took one-wickets.

West Indies scored 244-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Desmond Haynes struck 82 off 131-balls including 7-fours.

Carl Hooper hit a unbeaten 69 off 70-balls, Richie Richardson blasted a 41 off 37-balls included 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 110.81 and Brian Lara scored 15 off 35-balls contained 2-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Aamer Nazir, Aamer Sohail, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis each took one-wickets.

Carl Hooper named Player of the match for his match-saving innings of unbeaten 69 off facing 70-balls including 5-fours & a six.
