  • Stuart Law became the first Australian batsman to score a century against Zimbabwe in ODI cricket history.

Australia scored 254-3 in 50 overs with top scorer by Stuart Law cracked a career-best 110 off 135-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

David Boon hit a unbeaten 98 off 119-balls including 5-fours & a six and Mark Waugh scored 12 off 28-balls contained 2-fours.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Guy Whittall, Mark Dekker and David Brain each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 170-8 in the allotted 50 overs with top scorer by Andy Flower struck 39 off 56-balls including 4-fours.

Guy Whittall cracked a 35 off 78-balls including 3-fours, Paul Strang hit a unbeaten 21 off 23-balls included 2-fours and Wayne James scored 15 off 49-balls without a boundary. 

Australia best bowler by Glenn McGrath, Tim May, Damien Fleming each took 2-wickets and one for Shane Warne.

Stuart Law named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best 110-runs knocked off facing 135-balls including 6-fours & a six.
