Lorcan Tucker's blazing half-century and Gareth Delany's quick-fire 32-ball 49 before Debutants Matt Hollard, Jai Moondra's combined 5-wickets and Matthew Humphreys's three-for helped to Ireland registered their historic first T20I win against India by a shocking 34-runs, despite Abhishek Sharma's 20-ball 49 and Ireland take a 1-0 lead in the first T20I.

  • This is the Ireland's first T20I win against India in the ninth T20I meeting between these sides.
  • Ireland's 182 was their second highest score against India in T20 international after their 221 at Dublin (Malahide) in 2022 and It is their highest total at Belfast in T20Is, previous highest was 174 against New Zealand in 2022.

Ireland scored 182-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Lorcan Tucker blasted a 50 off 36-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 138.88.

Gareth Delany hammered a 49 off 32-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 3-sixes & 3-fours, George Dockrell blasted a 19 off 10-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 190.

Tim Tector hit 17 off 12-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 141.66 and Ben Calitz scored 15 off 11-balls contained 2-sixes.

India best bowler by Harshit Rana picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel both took 2-wickets and one for Shivam Dube.

India bowled out for 148 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Abhishek Sharma hammered a 49 off 20-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 245.

Shivam Dube blasted a 25 off 14-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 178.57, Tilak Varma hit 19 off 21-balls included 3-fours and Axar Patel scored 15 off 16-balls contained a boundary.

Ireland best bowler by Debutant Matt Hollard - who picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs on his debut T20I match, Matthew Humphreys captured three-wickets for 38-runs in 3.5-overs.

Debutant Jai Moondra - who took 2-wickets for 25-runs in 4-overs on his debut T20I match, Gareth Delany and Liam McCarthy both took one-wickets.

Matt Hollard named Player of the match for his impressive debut bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs.
