Sri Lanka best bowler by Ravindra Pushpakumara took 2-wickets and one for Chaminda Vaas - Muttiah Muralitharan.

Sri Lanka bowled out for 238 in 47.5 overs with top scorer by Aravinda de Silva struck 54 off 78-balls including 3-fours.

Sanath Jayasuriya blasted a 46 off 35-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 131.42, Ruwan Kalpage scored 35 off 50-balls included a boundary.

Asanka Gurusinha cracked a 33 off 36-balls including 3-fours & a six and Chaminda Vaas struck 27 off 20-balls Included a boundary.

New Zealand best bowler by Justin Vaughan claimed a 4-wickets for 33-runs in 10-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 3.30, Chris Cairns took 2-wickets and one for Chris Pringle.

Ken Rutherford named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 65 off 75-balls including 7-fours & a six.
