New Zealand scored 244-8 in the allotted 45 overs - match reduced from 50 to 45-overs per a side due delayed by rain - with top scorer by Craig Spearman cracked a 48 off 62-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours.

Adam Parore scored 42 off 65-balls including two boundaries, Roger Twose blasted a 41 off 33-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 124.24.

Stephen Fleming struck 38 off 45-balls including 4-fours, Nathan Astle blasted a unbeaten 20 off 14-balls and Bryan Young scored 15 off 23-balls contained a boundary.

Pakistan best bowler by Waqar Younis picked up 3-wickets, Aamer Sohail captured two-wickets, Wasim Akram, Aaqib Javed and Mushtaq Ahmed each took one-wickets.

Pakistan bowled out for 212 in 41.4 overs with top scorer by Saleem Malik blasted a 58 off 42-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 111.53.

Ramiz Raja cracked a 46 off 54-balls including 4-fours, Aamer Sohail hit 37 off 43-balls included 6-fours & a six, Inzamam-ul-Haq scored 17 off 23-balls contained 2-fours and Mushtaq Ahmed struck 16 off 17-balls with two boundaries.

New Zealand best bowler by Nathan Astle picked up 3-wickets, Gavin Larsen captured two-wickets, Danny Morrison, Roger Twose and Chris Cairns each took one-wickets.

Nathan Astle named Player of the match for his all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 42-runs in 8-overs and two run-outs after smashing a unbeaten 20 off 14-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 142.85.
