New Zealand best bowler by Chris Cairns, Dipak Patel, Chris Harris each captured two-wickets, Nathan Astle, Gavin Larsen and Justin Vaughan each took one-wickets.

New Zealand bundled out for 119 in 36.5 overs with top scorer by Mark Greatbatch struck 52 off 80-balls including 7-fours.

Adam Parore cracked a 22 off 59-balls including a boundary, Nathan Astle and Chris Cairns each scored 8-runs.

Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram picked up 3-wickets, Shahid Afridi, Mushtaq Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq each took 2-wickets and one for Waqar Younis.

Wasim Akram named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 8-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.50.

Waqar Younis earned player of the series for claiming 13 wickets with average of 11.76 in the tournament.
