A brilliant century by Josh Inglis and Nathan Ellis' all-round display helped to Australia pulled off a thrilling one-wicket victory by Zimbabwe, despite Sikandar Raza - Innocent Kaia - Sikandar Raza's half-centuries and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a nail-biting third & final ODI.

  • This is the 15th time Australia have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in one-day international and their third against Zimbabwe in ODIs.
  • This is the 28th time Zimbabwe have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in one-day internationals.
  • Australia chased 272 was their second highest successful run-chase against Zimbabwe in ODIs after they had chased 280 at Hobart in the 2001 Carlton Series.

Zimbabwe scored 271-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sikandar Raza blasted a unbeaten 81 off 72-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 112.50.

Craig Ervine cracked a 59 off 79-balls including 5-fours, Innocent Kaia struck 55 off 66-balls - who retired hurt due to hamstring injury - included 7-fours and Brian Bennett blasted a 30 off 29-balls contained 5-fours & a six.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Ellis picked up 3-wickets for 50-runs in 10-overs, Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa both took 2-wickets.

Australia overs with top scorer by Josh Inglis cracked a 103 off 102-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and his first century against Zimbabwe in ODIs.

Alex Carey struck 34 off 30-balls including 5-fours, Nathan Ellis hit a career-best unbeaten 36 off 44-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Cooper Connolly cracked a 21 off 39-balls including 4-fours and Oliver Peake scored 19 off 32-balls contained a boundary.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Brad Evans claimed a 4-wickets for 47-runs in 10-overs, Sikandar Raza, Graeme Cremer both took 2-wickets and one for Wesley Madhewere.

Josh Inglis named Player of the match for his match-winning superb 103-runs knocked off facing 102-balls including 11-fours.
