Aaron Finch's brilliant century, Shaun Marsh's superb 91 helped to Australia crushing eight-wicket victory over Pakistan, despite a maiden ODI century from Haris Sohail and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.
Pakistan scored 280-5 in 50-overs with top scorer by Haris Sohail 101 not out, who scored his first ODI hundred, Umar Akmal 48, Debutant Shan Masood 40, who was playing his first one-day match, Faheem Ashraf scored 28 and Imad Wasim 28 not out.
Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile took wickets, Nathan Lyon, Glenn Maxwell and Jhye Richardson each took one wickets.
Australia chased 281-2 in 49-overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch 116, which was his 12th ODI hundred, Shaun Marsh scored 91 not out, Peter Handscomb 30 not out and Usman Khawaja 24.
Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Abbas and Faheem Ashraf each took one wickets.
Aaron Finch earned Player of the match for his match-winning knock of 116-runs off facing 135 deliveries including eight 4s and four 6s.
