World's best batsman Sachin Tendulkar smashed a fighting scintillating 175-runs knocked off facing 141-balls including 19-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 124.11 but failed to chase just 4-run short of victory and India managed the 347 for all-out in 49.4-overs, Reply of Australia's' 350 in the fifth ODI.
* Sachin Tendulkar's 175 was his second highest score for India in One-day international, it is the highest score by an Indian batsman against Australia in ODls and the joint highest scorer against Australia in ODIs, jointly with Herschelle Gibbs' 175 at Johannesburg in 2006.
* Sachin Tendulkar hammered a 81-ball fastest century by an Indian batsman against Australia in One-day internationals.
Sachin Tendulkar who blasted his 45th One-day international century - which was his 17th ODI hundred in run-chasing and his 100 came from 81-balls.
