Superb batting display from debutant Ben Foakes and Tom Curran after a Liam Plunkett and Tom Curran combined seven-wickets helped to England crushing four-wicket victory over Ireland in a low-scoring one-off ODI.
Ireland scored 198 for all-out 43.1 overs from allotted 45-overs with top scorer by Paul Stirling 33, Debutant Mark Adair, who scored 32 off 30-balls, Andy Balbirnie 29 and George Dockrell 24.
England best bowler by Liam Plunkett claimed 4-wicket haul for 35-runs in 7-overs, Tom Curran picked up 3-wickets, Joe Denly takes 2-wickets and Debutant Jofra Archer - who took two-wickets on his debut ODI match.
England chased 199-6 in 42-overs with top scorer by Debutant Ben Foakes - who scored 61 not out on his debut ODI match.
Tom Curran cracked a unbeaten 47 off 56-balls including 5-fours, Debutant Dawid Malan - who scored 24-runs off 30-balls and David Willey scored 20-runs.
Ireland best bowler by Debutant Josh Little - who claimed 4-wickets for 45-runs on his debut ODI match - in 8-overs, Tim Murtagh and Boyd Rankin each took one wickets.
Ben Foakes named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 61-runs knocked off facing 76-balls including 3-fours and a six.
