Rohit Sharma's century before Jasprit Bumrah's four-for helped to India crushing 28-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a fighting half-century from Mohammad Saifuddin and book their place in the semi-finals in the 40th match of a World Cup.

India scored massive total of 314/9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma struck 104 off 92-balls - which was his fifth World Cup hundred and his 26th ODI hundred.

KL Rahul struck 77 off consuming 92-balls including 6-fours & a six, Rishabh Pant 48 off 41-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours & a six, MS Dhoni hit 35 off 33-balls including 4-fours and Virat Kohli 26.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mustafizur Rahman claimed five-wicket haul 59-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan and Rubel Hossain each took one-wickets.

Bangladesh scored 286 for all-out in 48 overs with top scorer by Shakib Al Hasan struck 66 off 74-balls including 6-fours, Mohammad Saifuddin cracked a 51 off 38-balls included 9-fours with strike rate of 134.21.

Sabbir Rahman scored a run-a-ball 36-runs including 5-fours, Soumya Sarkar hit 33 off 38-balls included four-fours, Mushfiqur Rahim 24 and Tamim Iqbal 22.

India best bowler by Jasprit Bumrah claimed a 4-wickets for 55-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Hardik Pandya picked up 3-wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami each took one-wickets.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his magnificent 104-runs knocked off facing 92-deliveries including 7-fours and 5-sixes.
