Pat Cummins' four-for, Three-wicket hauls from Josh Hazlewood and Andrew Tye before Travis Head's 96 helped to Australia consolation three-wicket victory over England, despite a Chris Woakes' record 78 and reduce the margin of defeat in the series to 3-1 in the fourth ODI.

  • Australia chased 197 was their tenth lowest successful run-chase against England at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • England lost their top five batsmen wickets for just 8-runs - which was their worst first five-wicket collapse in One-day international and the third worst first 5-wicket collapse in ODIs after Canada's 7 for 5 against Netherlands at King City (NW) in 2013 and Sri Lanka's 6 for 5 against Bangladesh at Dhaka in 2009.
  • Chris Woakes' unbeaten 78 was the highest score by a No.8 batsman in Australia in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 74 held by Australia's Trevor Laughlin against England at Sydney in 1979.
  • It is the first time Travis Head dismissals on nervous nineties in One-day internationals.
  • England's 196 was their seventh highest score at Adelaide Oval in One-day internationals.

England 8-5 to scored 196 for all-out in 44.5 overs with top scorer by Chris Woakes struck 78 off 84-balls including 5-sixes & 4-fours.

Tom Curran scored a run-a-ball 35-runs including 2-fours, Eoin Morgan hit 33 off consuming 61-deliveries included a boundary and Moeen Ali scored 33 off 50-balls with three boundaries.

Australia best bowler by Pat Cummins 4-24, Andrew Tye picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 7.5-overs, Josh Hazlewood took 3-wickets for 39-runs in 10-overs.

Australia chased 197-7 in 37 overs with top scorer by Travis Head 96 off 107-balls - who fell four-run short of his century - including 15-fours.

Mitchell Marsh scored 32 off 30-balls including 3-fours & a six and Tim Paine 25.

England best bowler by Adil Rashid picked up 3-wickets, Tom Curran, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood each took one-wickets.

Pat Cummins named Player of the match for his devastating bowling spell to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 24-runs in 10-overs including two maidens.
