Sensational Rohit Sharma's rampaging double-hundred and Shreyas Iyer's 88 sets up to India massive 141-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a brilliant century from Angelo Mathews and level the series with 1-1 in a historic game of the second ODI.

* India's 141-run win was their eighth largest victory by terms of runs against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals.

* Rohit Sharma became the first player to score three double-centuries in One-day international cricket history.

* Rohit Sharma plundered 208 - was his third highest score for India in One-day internationals.

* 12 : Rohit Sharma hit the his second most sixes in an innings for India in One-day international and the most sixes hit by any batsman against Sri Lanka in an Innings in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 11-sixes held by Shahid Afridi at Nairobi (Gym) in 1996.

* 213 The second-wicket partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, This is India's 12th 200-plus second-wicket stand in One-day international and their eleventh 200-plus partnership against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

* 213 : Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer set up the fourth highest second-wicket partnership for India against Sri Lanka in One-day international and India's eighth highest second-wicket stand in ODIs.

* 115 : Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan set up the joint tenth highest first-wicket partnership for India against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals,  jointly 115 held by between Sourav Ganguly at Colombo (RPS) in 1998.

* India became the first team to score 100th 300-plus scores in One-day international cricket history and it is their 21st 300+ total against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

* India's 392 was their joint sixth highest score in One-day international and it is their third highest total against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

* 106 : Nuwan Pradeep became the joint third most runs conceded by a bowler in One-day international, jointly 106 held by Bhuvneshwar Kumar against South Africa at Mumbai in 2015 and the most runs conceded by an Sri Lankan bowler in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 99 held by Muttiah Muralitharan against Australia at Sydney in 2006.

* 106 : Nuwan Pradeep became the third most runs conceded without a wicket by a bowler in One-day international and the most runs conceded without a wicket by any bowler against India in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 105 held by Tim Southee at Christchurch in 2009.

India scored mammoth total of 392-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma 208 - which was his 16th ODI hundred and his 3rd double-century in One-day International cricket history.

Shreyas Iyer struck 88 off 70-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes and Shikhar Dhawan scored 68 off 67-balls included nine boundaries.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Thisara Perera claimed three-wickets for 80-runs from 8-overs and Sachith Pathirana took one wicket.

Sri Lanka scored 251-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews 111 off 132-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and also his second century against India in ODIs - including 9-fours and 3-sixes. 

Asela Gunaratne cracked a 34 off 30-balls including 5-fours, Niroshan Dickwella scored 22 off 20-balls included 4-fours, Lahiru Thirimanne 21 and Danushka Gunathilaka 16.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 3-wickets, Jasprit Bumrah takes 2-wickets, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar both took one-wickets and debutant Washington Sundar - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to scored a unbeaten 208-runs knocked off 153-balls including 13-fours and 12-sixes with strike rate of 135.94.
