Magnificent Martin Guptill's record-breaking 180* and Ross Taylor's half-century powers to New Zealand emphatic seven-wicket victory over South Africa and level the series with 2-2 in the fourth ODI.

  • New Zealand chased 280 was their tenth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their second highest chase against South Africa in ODIs.
  • 58 : AB de Villiers and Chris Morris set up the fourth highest seventh-wicket partnership for South Africa against England in One-day internationals.
  • South Africa's 279 was their fifth highest score against New Zealand in New Zealand soil in One-day internationals.
  • 180 : Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor set up the record third-wicket partnership for New Zealand against South Africa in One-day international, previously held by the 127-run stand between Kane Williamson and Grant Elliott at Kimberley in 2013 and New Zealand's joint second highest second-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly 180-run stand held by between Adam Parore and Ken Rutherford at Vadodara in the 1994 Wills World Series.
  • Martin Guptill's unbeaten 180 was his third highest score for New Zealand in One-day international and the highest-score by an New Zealand batsman against South Africa in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 145 held by Kane Williamson at Kimberley in 2013.

South Africa scored 279-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers 72-runs not out off 59-balls including 4-fours and 3-sixes, Faf du Plessis struck 67 off consuming 97-balls included four boundaries, Hashim Amla scored 40, Wayne Parnell 29, Chris Morris 28 and JP Duminy 25.

New Zealand best bowler by Jeetan Patel picked up two wickets for 57-runs from 10-overs, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult and Tim Southee each took one wickets.

New Zealand chased 280-3 in 45 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 180* not out - which was his 12th ODI hundred and his second century against South Africa in ODIs.

Ross Taylor struck 66 off 97-balls including 7-fours and a six, And Kane Williamson 21.

South Africa best bowler by Imran Tahir picked up 2-wickets for 56-runs from 10-overs and Kagiso Rabada took one wicket.

Martin Guptill named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 180-runs knock off facing 138-balls including 15-fours and 11-sixes.
