Virat Kohli's record-breaking 160* and Shikhar Dhawan's half-century before Wrist-spinners attack helped to India thumping 124-run victory over South Africa and took an unassailable 3-0 lead in a another one-sided game of the third ODI.

  • South Africa's 124-run defeat was their tenth worst by margin of runs in ODIs.

  • Virat Kohli's 160* was his second highest score for India in One-day international, It is also the second highest ODI score by an Indian batsman against South Africa and the highest score by an Indian batsman in South Africa in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 127 held by Sourav Ganguly at Johannesburg in 2001.
  • 3 : Virat Kohli equalled a joint second most centuries hit by an Indian batsman against South Africa in One-day internationals, jointly with Sourav Ganguly.
  • 140 : Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli set up the sixth highest second-wicket partnership for India against South Africa in One-day internationals.
  • South Africa lost their last five wickets for just 29-runs - which was their joint seventh worst last five-wicket collapse against India in One-day internationals. They went from 150 for 5 to 179 for all out.

India scored massive total of 303-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli struck 160 off 159-balls - which was his 34th ODI hundred and his third century against South Africa in ODIs.

Shikhar Dhawan struck 76 off 63-balls including 12-fours and Bhuvneshwar Kumar 16 not out.

South Africa best bowler by JP Duminy took two-wickets, Andile Phehlukwayo, Chris Morris, Imran Tahir and Kagiso Rabada each took one wickets.

South Africa scored 179 for all-out in 40 overs with top scorer by JP Duminy struck 51 off 67-balls including 4-fours, Aiden Markram hit 32 off 42-balls included 2-fours & a six, David Miller 25 and Khayo Zondo 17.

India best bowler by Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal each claimed 4-wicket haul in 9-overs and Jasprit Bumrah took two-wickets.

Virat Kohli named Player of the match for his masterclass unbeaten 160-runs knocked off facing 159-balls including 12-fours and 2-sixes.
