Rahmat Shah's brilliant century, Najibullah Zadran's quick-fire 81* and Ihsanullah's half-century before Rashid Khan's four-for helped to Afghanistan's record 154-run victory over Zimbabwe and take a 1-0 lead in a one-sided game of the first ODI.

  • Afghanistan's 154-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals. previous biggest win by 138-runs against Ireland at same venue in the last year.
  • 158 : Rahmat Shah and Najibullah Zadran set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in One-day international, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 157 held by these pair against Scotland at Edinburgh in 2016.
  • Afghanistan's 333 was their second highest score in One-day international and It is their highest total against Zimbabwe in ODIs, previous highest was 271 at Bulawayo in 2015.
  • Zimbabwe's 179 was their seventh lowest score in the completed innings against Afghanistan in One-day internationals.
  • Rahmat Shah became the fourth Afghanistan batsman to score a hundred against Zimbabwe in One-day internationals.

Afghanistan scored huge total of 333-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rahmat Shah 114 - which was his 3rd ODI hundred and his first century against Zimbabwe in ODIs.

Najibullah Zadran hammered a 81 off 51-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 158.82

Ihsanullah cracked a 54 off 53-balls including 9-fours, Mohammad Shahzad scored 36 off 40-balls included 4-fours & a six and Nasir Jamal hit 31 off 41-balls with 2-fours.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Graeme Cremer picked up 3-wickets and one for Sikandar Raza - Kyle Jarvis.

Zimbabwe scored 179 for all-out in 34.4 overs with top scorer by Solomon Mire hammered a 34 off 25-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 136.

Craig Ervine cracked a 33 off 42-balls including 2-fours & a six, Sikandar Raza 25, Kyle Jarvis 20, Brendan Taylor and Hamilton Masakadza each scored 16-runs.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan claimed a 4-wickets for 26-runs in 5.4 overs, Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 2-wickets, Rahmat Shah, Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Nabi, Dawlat Zadran and Gulbadin Naib each took one-wickets.

Rahmat Shah named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 114-runs knocked off facing 110-balls including 8-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 103.64.
