David Miller and JP Duminy's stunning centuries sets up to South Africa comprehensive 62-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third match of a World Cup.

  • South Africa's 62-run win was their seventh smallest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in One-day international and It is their second narrowest win in World Cups.
  • 256* : David Miller and JP Duminy set up the record fifth-wicket partnership in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record held by the unbeaten 226-run stand between Eoin Morgan and Ravi Bopara against Ireland at Dublin (Malahide) in 2013.
  • 30-runs : Number of runs that were scored in the 48th over from Solomon Mire, which was the joint third most productive over for South Africa in One-day international and the joint fifth most expensive-over in ODIs.

  • David Miller scored 30-runs (6, 4, 4, 6, 4, 6) - the second most runs scored by a batsman in an over in World Cups after Herschelle Gibbs' (36).
  • 9 : David Miller hit the third most sixes in an innings for South Africa in One-day international, It is the most sixes hit by a batsman in World Cup history, surpassing the previous record of 8-sixes jointly hit by Ricky Ponting, Imran Nazir and Adam Gilchrist and the second most sixes hit by an South African batsman against Zimbabwe in ODIs after Mark Boucher's 10-sixes.
  • David Miller's unbeaten 138 was his highest score for South Africa in One-day international, It is the second highest score by an South African batsman against Zimbabwe in ODIs after Mark Boucher's unbeaten 147 and the fifth highest score by an South African batsman in World Cups.
  • David Miller became the seventh South African batsman to score a hundred in World Cups.
  • JP Duminy became the eighth South African batsman to score a hundred in World Cups.
  • JP Duminy's unbeaten 115 was his third highest score for South Africa in One-day international and the eighth highest score by an South African batsman in World Cups.
  • South Africa's 339 was their fifth highest score against Zimbabwe in One-day international and It is their fourth highest ODI total in World Cups.
  • Zimbabwe's 277 was their third highest score in One-day international and It is their sixth highest ODI total in World Cups.
  • 105 : Chamu Chibhabha and Hamilton Masakadza set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for Zimbabwe against South Africa in One-day internationals and also Zimbabwe's second highest second-wicket stand in World Cups.

South Africa 83-4 to scored 339-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by David Miller 138 not out - which waa his 2nd ODI hundred, his 1st century against Zimbabwe in ODIs and also his first ODI hundred World Cups.

JP Duminy 115 not out off 100-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred, his third century against Zimbabwe in ODIs and his first ODI hundred in World Cups - including 9-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 115, AB de Villiers 25 and Faf du Plessis 24.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Elton Chigumbura, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Tendai Chatara and Tinashe Panyangara each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 277 for all-out in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Hamilton Masakadza struck 80 off 74-balls including 8-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 108.11.

Chamu Chibhabha cracked a 64 off 82-balls including 8-fours, Brendan Taylor scored a run-a-ball 40-runs included 4-fours & a six and Solomon Mire hit 27 off 25-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 108.

South Africa best bowler by Imran Tahir picked up 3-wickets for 36-runs in 10 overs, Vernon Philander, Morne Morkel each took 2-wickets and one for JP Duminy - Dale Steyn.

David Miller named player of the match for his sensational power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best quick-fire unbeaten 138-runs knocked off facing 92-balls including 9-sixes and 7-fours with strike rate of 150.
