* Richie Berrington's 4 for 40 was his best bowling figures for Scotland in One-day international and the second best bowling figures by an Scotland bowler in World Cups after John Blain's 4 for 37.

* 62 : Alasdair Evans and Majid Khan set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for Scotland in One-day international, previously held by the 48-run stand between Alasdair Evans and Richie Berrington against Ireland at Dublin (Malahide) in the last year and also the Scotland's record ninth-wicket stand in World Cups.

* 60 : Samiullah Shinwari and Hamid Hassan set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in One-day international, previously held by the 35-run stand between Khaliq Dad and Hamid Hassan against Ireland at Rotterdam in 2010 and also Afghanistan's record ninth-wicket stand in World Cups.

Scotland scored 210 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Matt Machan struck 31 off 28-balls including 4-fours.

Majid Haq scored 31 off 51-balls including 3-fours, Alasdair Evans hit 28 off 37-balls included three-fours.

Kyle Coetzer struck 25 off 41-balls including 5-fours and Richie Berrington scored 25 off 46-balls included 2-fours, Preston Mommsen hit 23 off 36-balls with 4-fours and Matthew Cross 15.

Afghanistan best bowler by Shapoor Zadran claimed a 4-wickets for 28-runs in 10 overs including a maiden, Dawlat Zadran picked up 3-wickets for 29-runs in 10-overs included a maiden, Hamid Hassan, Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan chased 211-9 in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Samiullah Shinwari 96 - who fell four-run short of his century.

Javed Ahmadi cracked a run-a-ball 51-runs including 8-fours and Hamid Hassan 15.

Scotland best bowler by Richie Berrington claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 40-runs in 10-overs, Alasdair Evans, Josh Davey both 2-wickets and one for Majid Haq.

Samiullah Shinwari named Player of the match for his match-winning 96-runs knocked off facing 147-balls including 7-fours and 5-sixes.
