Gary Wilson's superb 80 and Kevin O'Brien's rapid half-century powers to Ireland tense two-wicket victory over UAE, despite Shaiman Anwar's maiden century in a tight 16th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup.

Shaiman Anwar became the first UAE batsman to score a hundred in World Cups and second UAE batsman to score a 100 hundred in ODIs after Khurram Khan. 72 : Gary Wilson and Kevin O'Brien set up the fifth highest sixth-wicket partnership for Ireland in One-day international and Ireland's second highest sixth-wicket stand in World Cups.

UAE scored 278-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shaiman Anwar hammered a career-best 106 off 83-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 10-fours & a six.

Amjad Ali struck 45 off 71-balls including 5-fours, Amjad Javed hammered a 42 off 35-balls included five-fours with strike rate of 120 and Khurram Khan scored 36 off 53-balls with 2-fours.

Ireland best bowler by Paul Stirling, Alex Cusack, Max Sorensen, Kevin O'Brien each took 2-wickets and one for George Dockrell.

Ireland chased 279-8 in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Gary Wilson 80, Kevin O'Brien hammered a 50 off 25-balls including 8-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 200.

Ed Joyce cracked a 37 off 49-balls including 3-fours, William Porterfield scored 37 off 64-balls included 2-fours.

Andy Balbirnie scored 30 off 41-balls including a boundary and Niall O'Brien 17.

UAE best bowler by Amjad Javed picked up 3-wickets, Mohammad Tauqir, Mohammad Naveed both took 2-wickets and one for Manjula Guruve.

Gary Wilson named Player of the match for his match-winning superb 80-runs knocked off facing 69-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 115.94.
