James Tredwell's four-for after Stunning half-centuries from Ian Bell, Alastair Cook guided England thrilling 9-run victory over India and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring game of the first ODI.
* England's 325 was their joint third highest score against India in One-day internationals.
* India's 316 was their seventh highest score against England in One-day internationals.
* India have scored 300 or more 71 times in ODIs - more than any other side - but their win-loss ratio in those matches is 4.38 (57 wins, 13 losses, one tie). Australia have the best win-loss ratio, winning 61 out of 66.
* This is only the second time in England's ODI history that five of their top six batsmen scored 40 or more in a match.

England scored massive total of 325-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ian Bell struck 85 off 96-balls including nine-fours and a six, Alastair Cook scored 75 off 83-balls included 11-fours and a six, Kevin Pietersen, Samit Patel each scored 44-runs and Eoin Morgan 41.
India best bowler by Ashok Dinda picked up two-wickets and one for Suresh Raina.
