Half-centuries from Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, All-round Ravindra Jadeja's fifty with two wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin's combined 6-wickets helped to India massive 127-run victory over England and level the series with 1-1 in the one-sided game of the second ODI.

Match Stats : 
  • India's 127-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against England in One-day internationals.
  • England's 158 was their third lowest score against India in One-day internationals.
  • India's Nos. 5, 6 and 7 all scored half-centuries, only the fifth time this has ever happened in ODIs, and the first such instance for India.
  • The 96-run stand between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja came at a run-rate of 9.60 per over, the fourth-best rate for a 50-plus stand for India against England. The top three such stands for the sixth wicket for India versus England all involve Dhoni and Jadeja.

India scored 285-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by MS Dhoni struck 72 off 62-balls including 7-fours and two-sixes, Ravindra Jadeja who hammered unbeaten 61 off 37-balls included eight-fours and 2-sixes, Suresh Raina scored 55 off 78 deliveries with two-fours and two-sixes, Virat Kohli scored 37 and Yuvraj Singh 32.

England best bowler by Steven Finn, Jade Dernbach each picked up two-wickets and one for James Tredwell - Chris Woakes.

England scored 158 for all-out in 36 overs with top scorer by Kevin Pietersen struck 42 off 44-balls including seven boundaries, Joe Root who scored a 36-runs on his first ODI innings, Samit Patel 30 not out and Craig Kieswetter 18.

India best bowler by Bhubaneswar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin each picked up 3-wickets, Ravindra Jadeja took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Shami.

Ravindra Jadeja named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 12-runs in 7-overs after smashing a quick-fire unbeaten 61-runs knocked off facing 37-balls including 8-fours and two-sixes with strike rate of 164.86.
