Sri Lanka scored 218 for 9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene 104 off 107-balls - which was his 18th ODI hundred and his third century against New Zealand in ODIs - including 12-fours a six.
Lahiru Thirimanne, Jeevan Mendis both scored 23-runs, Tillakaratne Dilshan 19 and Angelo Mathews 15.
