Spinners and superb fielding effort before Tillakaratne Dilshan's masterclass century guided Sri Lanka crushing six-wicket victory over New Zealand, despite a brilliant century from Brendon McCullum and level the series with 1-1 in the second ODI.


New Zealand scored 248 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Brendon McCullum 117 off 99-balls - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his first century against Sri Lanka in ODIs - including 12-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 118.18.

Ross Taylor scored 34 off consuming 69-balls including two boundaries, Matt Henry 20 not out and Adam Milne 19.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Rangana Herath, Sachithra Senanayake both took 2-wickets and one for Nuwan Kulasekara - Jeevan Mendis.

Sri Lanka chased 252-4 in 47.4 overs with top scorer by Tillakaratne Dilshan 116 - which was his 19th ODI hundred and his second century against New Zealand in ODIs.

Angelo Mathews cracked a unbeaten 39 off 46-balls including 5-fours & a six, Kumar Sangakkara struck 38 off 41-balls included 3-sixes & a four.

Mahela Jayawardene hit 27 off 29-balls including 5-fours and Dimuth Karunaratne 21.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry took 2-wickets and one for Nathan McCullum - Adam Milne.

Tillakaratne Dilshan named player of the match for his match-winning masterclass 116-runs knocked off facing 127-balls including 17-fours.
