Tom Latham struck 42 off 65-balls included four-fours and Brendon McCullum hit 28 off 22-balls with 2-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 127.27.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Angelo Mathews picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 6.5 overs including two maidens.
