Kumar Sangakkara's masterclass century and Tillaknratne Dilshan's classy 81 before bowlers attack helped to Sri Lanka consolation 34-run victory over New Zealand and reduce the margin of defeat in the series to 4-2 in the seventh ODI.

Sri Lanka scored 287 for 6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara 113 - which was his 21st ODI hundred and his second century against New Zealand in ODIs.

Tillakaratne Dilshan struck 81 off 98-balls including 5-fours & a six, Lahiru Thirimanne scored 30 off 41-balls included 4-fours and Thisara Perera 20.

New Zealand best bowler by Corey Anderson picked up 3-wickets, Tim Southee took 2-wickets and one for Kyle Mills.

New Zealand scored 253 for all-out in 45.2 overs with top scorer by Kane Williamson struck 54 off 83-balls including 4-fours, Luke Ronchi cracked a 47 off 42-balls included four-fours & a six.

Daniel Vettori scored 35 off 30-balls including 6-fours, Kyle Mills blasted a 30 off 17-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 176.47.

Corey Anderson hit 29 off 20-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike-rate of 145 and Grant Elliott 24.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Shaminda Eranga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dushmantha Chameera each took 2-wickets, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Seekkuge Prasanna and Thisara Perera each took one-wickets.

Kumar Sangakkara named Player of the match for his masterclass unbeaten 113-runs knocked off facing 105-balls including 14-fours.

Kane Williamson earned player of the series for contributing 295-runs including two half-centuries and a century with average of 59 in the seven-match ODI series.
