All-round display by Corey Anderson, Nineties from Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor helped to New Zealand's record 120-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a fighting knock from Kumar Sangakkara's 81 and go up 4-1 lead in the sixth ODI.

Match Stats : 
  • New Zealand's 120-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against Sri Lanka in ODIs, previous biggest win by 116-runs at Auckland in 1983.
  • New Zealand's 315 was their joint second highest total against Sri Lanka in One-day Internationals.
  • 117 : Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Sri Lanka in One-day Internationals.
  • Sri Lanka's 195 was their tenth lowest score in the completed innings in New Zealand soil in One-day internationals.

New Zealand scored 315 for 8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kane Williamson 97 off 95-balls - who fell three-run short of his century - including 8-fours & 2-sixes.

Ross Taylor 96 off 102-balls - who fell four-run short of his century - included 7-fours & 2-sixes, Corey Anderson blasted a 40 off 28-balls.

Martin Guptill hit 28 off 43-balls including four-fours and Grant Elliott 21 not out.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dhammika Prasad takes two-wickets, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Rangana Herath and Thisara Perera each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 195 for all-out in 40.3 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara blasted a 81 off 66-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 122.72, Lahiru Thirimanne 29, Dimuth Karunaratne 26 and Tillakaratne Dilshan 21.

New Zealand best bowler by Corey Anderson 4-52, Mitchell McClenaghan took 2-wickets and one for Trent Boult.

Corey Anderson named Player of the match for his all-round performance to claimed a 4-wickets for 52-runs in 10-overs after scoring a quick-fire 40 off 28-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 142.85.
