England scored 257-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Alastair Cook, Kevin Pietersen both scored exact 76-runs, Joe Root 57 not out - who struck his firs ODI fifty including eight-fours and a six, Jos Buttler scored 14 and Ian Bell 10.

India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3-wickets for 39-runs from 10-overs, Ishant Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin took two-wickets.

India chased  258-5 in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Suresh Raina 89 not out, Rohit Sharma struck 83 off 93-balls including 11-fours and a six, Virat Kohli scored 26-runs, Ravindra Jadeja 21 and MS Dhoni 19.

England best bowler by James Tredwell picked up two-wickets, Steven Finn, Tim Bresnan and Jade Dernbach each took one-wickets.

Suresh Raina named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 89-runs knocked off 79-balls including nine-fours and a six.
