England scored 185 for all-out in 43 overs with top scorer by Ravi Bopara struck 51 off 69-balls including a boundary.

Joe Root cracked a 42 off 57-balls including a four, Alastair Cook scored 22 and Eoin Morgan 17.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Ajantha Mendis picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs, Dhammika Prasad, Tillakaratne Dilshan each took 2-wickets, Thisara Perera, Angelo Mathews and Rangana Herath each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka chased 186-2 in 34.2 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene 77 not out, Kumar Sangakkara cracked a unbeaten 67 off 93-balls including eight boundaries and Tillakaratne Dilshan 26.

England best bowler by Steven Finn and Moeen Ali both took one-wickets.

Mahela Jayawardene named Player of the match for his match-winning masterclass unbeaten 77-runs knocked off facing 80-balls including 8-fours and a six.
