Ben Hilfenhaus' maiden five-for after Half-centuries from Michael Hussey and Peter Forrest guided Australia comprehensive 110-run victory over India and earned the bonus-point in the seventh match of a CB Tri-series.

  • Australia's 110-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs against India in One-day internationals.
  • Ben Hilfenhaus' 5 for 33 was his best bowling performance for Australia in One-day international and the seventh best bowling figures by an Australian bowler against India in One-day internationals.
  • Ben Hilfenhaus became the ninth Australian bowler to claimed a five-wicket haul against India in One-day internationals.
  • Matthew Wade took five catches in the Indian innings making it the 13th instance of an Australian wicketkeeper taking five or more catches in an ODI. Adam Gilchrist has achieved the feat on nine occasions.
  • Michael Hussey became the 13th Australian batsman to reach the 5000-runs mark. His average of 50.52 is the second-highest after Michael Bevan among Australian batsmen with 5000-plus runs.
  • Australia's 288 was their joint fifth highest score against India at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • India's 178 was their second lowest score against Australia at Brisbane Cricket Ground in One-day internationals.

Australia scored 288-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Michael Hussey struck 59 off 52-balls including six boundaries.

Peter Forrest cracked a 52 off 71-balls including 3-fours, Matthew Wade scored 45 off 67-balls included 2-fours & a six.

David Warner hit 43 off 46-balls including 5-fours & a six, Daniel Christian hammered a 30 off 18-balls included 5-fours and David Hussey 26 not out.

India best bowler by Irfan Pathan picked up 3-wickets, Rohit Sharma and Zaheer Khan both took one-wickets.

India scored 178 for all-out in 43.3 overs with top scorer by MS Dhoni struck 58 off 84-balls including 2-fours & a six, Suresh Raina 28, Irfan Pathan 19 and Ravindra Jadeja 18.

Australia best bowler by Ben Hilfenhaus 5-33, Brett Lee picked up 3-wickets and one for Daniel Christian - Mitchell Starc.

Ben Hilfenhaus named Player of the match for his excellent bowling performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 33-runs in 9.3 overs.
