Half-centuries from Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson's all-round display and Tim Southee's four-for helped to New Zealand cruising to via DLS method 15-run victory over India, despite a fighting fifty from MS Dhoni and wrap up 2-0 lead in a rain-truncated game of the second ODI.

New Zealand scored 271-7 in 42 overs - due to rain that arrived in the 34th over - with top scorer by Kane Williamson 77, Ross Taylor struck 57 off 56-ballls including 7-fours.

Martin Guptill scored 44 off 65-balls including 5-fours & a six, Corey Anderson hammered a 44 off 17-balls included 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 258.82 and Jesse Ryder 20.

India best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets, Suresh Raina, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja each took one-wickets.

India scored 277-9 in 41.3 overs - India had been asked to chase 297 from 42 overs - due to rain DLS par score 292 after 41.3 overs India were 15 runs behind of the par score when the rain-thrash the match.

India top scorer by Virat Kohli hammered a 78 off 65-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 120, MS Dhoni blasted a 56 off 44-balls included 7-fours and a six with strike-rate of 127.27.

Ajinkya Rahane scored 36 off 42-balls including 4-fours and Suresh Raina hammered a 35 off 22-balls included 6-fours with strike rate of 159.09 and Rohit Sharma 20.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee claimed a 4-wickets for 72-runs in 9-overs, Corey Anderson picked up 3-wickets and one for Mitchell McClenaghan and Kyle Mills.

Kane Williamson named player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 77-runs knocked off facing 87-balls including 5-fours and a six.
