Heroics Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin snatched a remarkable match-tied against New Zealand, despite a brilliant century from Martin Guptill - Corey Anderson's five-for and keep series alive in a high-scoring thriller of the third ODI.

  • 153 : Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson set up the record second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against India in One-day International, previously held by the 138-run stand between Nathan Astle and Stephen Fleming at Colombo (SSC) in 2001 and New Zealand's fourth highest second-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • 85 : Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin set up the record seventh-wicket partnership for India against New Zealand in One-day International, previously held by the 55-run stand between Syed Abid Ali and Madan Lal at Manchester in the inaugural Prudential World Cup and India's joint tenth highest seventh-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly unbeaten 85-run stand held by between Reetinder Sodhi and Ajit Agarkar against Zimbabwe at Rajkot in 2000.

New Zealand scored massive total of 314 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill struck 111 off 129-balls - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his first century against India in ODIs - including 12-fours and a six.

Kane Williamson struck 65 off 74-balls including 4-fours & a six, Luke Ronchi hammered a 38 off 20-balls included 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 190.

Tim Southee scored 27 off 23-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike-rate of 117.39 and Ross Taylor 17.

India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami both took 2-wickets, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Varun Aaron each took one-wickets.

India scored 314-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ravindra Jadeja 66 not out, Ravichandran Ashwin hammered a 65 off 46-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 141.30.

MS Dhoni struck 50 off 60-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours, Rohit Sharma hit 39 off 38-balls included 4-sixes & a four.

Suresh Raina scored 31 off 39-balls including 3-fours and Shikhar Dhawan hit 28 off 23-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 112.

New Zealand best bowler by Corey Anderson claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 63-runs in 10 overs, Hamish Bennett took 2-wickets and one for Nathan McCullum - Tim Southee.

Ravindra Jadeja named player of the match for his match-saving magnificent unbeaten 66-runs knocked off facing 45-balls including 5-fours and 4-sixes with striking rate of 146.66.
