Half-centuries from Avishka Fernando, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kusal Perera and Wanindu Hasaranga's each 42-runs helped to Sri Lanka thrilling one-wicket victory over West Indies, despite a brilliant century from Shai Hope and take a 1-0 lead in a see-saw game of the first ODI.

* Sri Lanka chased 290 was their second highest successful run-chase against West Indies in One-day international and It is their highest chase at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo in ODIs.

* 111 : Avishka Fernando and Dimuth Karunaratne set up the joint second highest first-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against West Indies in One-day internationals, jointly 111-run stand held by between Roshan Mahanama and Sanath Jayasuriya at Sharjah in 1995.

West Indies scored 289-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shai Hope struck 115 off 140-balls - which was his 9th ODI hundred and his first century against Sri Lanka in ODIs - including 10-fours.

Roston Chase cracked a 41 off 45-balls including 4-fours & a six, Darren Bravo scored 39 off 52-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes.

Keemo Paul blasted a unbeaten 32 off 17-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 188.24 and Hayden Walsh hammered a 20 off 8-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 250.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Isuru Udana picked up 3-wickets and one for Thisara Perera and Nuwan Pradeep.

Sri Lanka chased 290-9 in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Dimuth Karunaratne struck 52 off 57-balls including 7-fours.

Avishka Fernando scored 50 off 55-balls including 5-fours & a six, Kusal Perera hit 42 off 50-balls included 4-fours, Wanindu Hasaranga 42 not out.

Thisara Perera hammered a 32 off 22-balls including
3-fours & a six with strike rate of 145.45, Kusal Mendis 20 and Dhananjay de Silva 18.

WestIndies best bowler by Alzarri Joseph picked up 3-wickets, Hayden Walsh, Keemo Paul both took 2-wickets and one for Jason Holder.

Wanindu Hasaranga named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 42 off 39-balls including 4-fours and a six with strike rate of 107.69.
