Australia scored 184-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Michael Hussey 64 not out, Michael Clarke struck 50 off 69-balls including 4-fours and Matthew Hayden 23.
Sri Lanka best bolwer by Farveez Maharoof, Muttiah Muralitharan both took 2-wickets and one for Chaminda Vaas - Lasith Malinga.
Sri Lanka scored 77-4 in 29.3 overs- due to rain DLS par score 101 after 29.3-overs Sri Lanka were 24-runs behind of the par score when the match-stopped.
