* 213 : Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene set up the sixth highest first-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka in One-day international and it is Sri Lanka's best opening stand against India in ODIs.

* This was the seventh time Upul Tharanga was involved in a double-century partnership, joint-highest along with Ricky Ponting in ODIs.

* Upul Tharanga became the third-highest individual scorer against India in ODIs after Saeed Anwar 194 and Sanath Jayasuriya 189.

Sri  Lanka scored mammoth total of 348-1 in 50 overs with top scorer by Upul Tharanga 174 not out - which was his 13th ODI hundred, Mahela Jayawardene scored 107 off 112-balls - who struck his 16th ODI hundred including 9-fours and two-sixes.

Angelo Mathews cracked a unbeaten 44 off 29-balls included four-fours and a six with strike rate of 151.72.

India best bowler by Ravinchandran Ashwin took one-wicket for 67-runs in 10-overs.

India scored 187 for all-out in 44.5 overs with top scorer by Ravindra Jadeja scored a 49 not out off 62-balls including 4-fours and a six, Suresh Raina struck a run-a-ball 33-runs included four boundaries, Murali Vijay scored 30, Shikhar Dhawan 24 and Dinesh Karthik 22.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Rangana Herath picked up 3-wickets, Lasith Malinga, Sachithra Senanayake both took 2-2 wickets and one for Angelo Mathews - Nuwan Kulasekara.

Upul Tharanga named Player of the match for his career-best unbeaten sparkling 174-runs off 159-balls including 19-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 109.43.
