West Indies chased 230-9 in 47.4 overs with top scorer by Johnson Charles 97, Darren Bravo struck 55 off 78-balls included five-fours and a six, Darren Sammy scored 29 and Kemar Roach 14 not out.
India best bowler by Umesh Yadav picked up 3-wickets, Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin both took two-wickets and one for Suresh Raina - Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Johnson Charles named Player of the match for his match-winning 97-runs knocked off facing 100-balls including 8-fours and 4-sixes.
