Venkatesh Prasad turned the game with a five-over spell of three-wickets for 20 after a brilliant batting performance from Navjot Singh Sidhu and Ajay Jadeja guided India comprehensive 39-run victory over Pakistan and enter into semis in the second Quarter-final of the World Cup.

India best bowler by Venkatesh Prasad, Anil Kumble both picked up 3-wickers and one for Venkatapathy Raju - Javagal Srinath.

Navjot Singh Sidhu named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring 93-runs knocked off facing 115-balls including 11-fours.
