Indian captain Sourav Ganguly smashed a sparkling 144-runs knocked off facing 152-balls including 8-fours and 6-sixes helped to India set up the massive total of 306 against Zimbabwe in the second ODI.
Sourav Ganguly’s 144 is his third highest score for India in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and the third highest by an Indian batsman against Zimbabwe in ODIs.
His 144 is also the fourth highest score by an Indian captain in ODIs and the seventh highest score by any captain in ODI history.
Additionally, Ganguly became the second highest scorer as a captain batting at number 2 in ODIs, and the second highest Indian captain at that position, behind Sachin Tendulkar’s unbeaten 186*.
