* Sourav Ganguly's 144 was his third highest score for India in One-day internationals and the third highest score by an Indian batsman against Zimbabwe in ODIs.

* Sourav Ganguly's 144 was the fourth highest score by an Indian captain in One-day internationals and the seventh highest score by a captain in ODIs.

* 144 : Sourav Ganguly became the second highest-scorer by a Captain at No.2 in One-day internationals and also second highest score by an Indian captain at number 2 in ODIs after Sachin Tendulkar's (186*).

* 51* : Heath Streak became the third highest-scorer by a Captain at No.8 in One-day internationals and the highest score by an Zimbabwe captain at number 8 in ODIs.

* India's 306 was their highest score against Zimbabwe in One-day international and it is their joint ninth highest total in ODIs.

* 175 : Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for India against Zimbabwe in One-day international and India's joint eighth highest second-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly 175 held by between Ravi Shastri and Sanjay Manjrekar against South Africa at New Delhi in 1991.

India scored 306-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sourav Ganguly 144 - which was his 16th ODI hundred and his third century against India in ODIs.

Rahul Dravid struck 62 off 88-balls including 3-fours, Sunil Joshi 22, Yuvraj Singh and Hemang Badani both scored 17-runs.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Travis Friend, Dirk Viljoen, Brian Murphy and Henry Olonga each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 245-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Andy Flower struck 51 off 57-balls including 3-fours.

Heath Streak scored a unbeaten 51-runs off 57-balls including 4-fours & a six, Alistair Campbell cracked a 32 off 38-balls included four boundaries, Guy Whittall and Dirk Viljoen both scored 26-runs.

India best bowler by Sridharan Sriram picked up 3-wickets, Sunil Joshi took two-wickets, Venkatesh Prasad, Zaheer Khan and Sachin Tendulkar each took one-wickets.

Sourav Ganguly named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 144-runs knocked off facing 152-balls including 8-fours and 6-sixes.
