India best bowler by Javagal Srinath and Anil Kumble both picked up 3-wickets.

India chased 245-3 in 45.4 overs with top scorer by Ajay Jadeja 87, Navjot Singh Sidhu struck 80 off 110-balls including five-fours.

Mohammad Azharuddin cracked a unbeaten 36 off 37-balls included two-fours and Vinod Kambli hammered a 17-ball 28-runs with 3-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 164.70.

Australia best bowler by Shane Warne took two-wickets and one for Glenn McGrath.

Ajay Jadeja named Player of the match for his match-winning 87-runs knocked off facing 106-balls including 12-fours and a six.
