Australian debutant left-handed batsman David Warner made one of the momerabla T20I debut knock of 89-runs off facing just 43-balls including 7-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 206.97 helped to Australia set up the commanding total of 182 against South Africa in the first T20 international.

* David Warner hammered a 19-ball second fastest fifty in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an Australian batsman in T20I cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 25-ball half-century held by Andrew Symonds against South Africa at Brisbane in 2006.
