Indian opener batsman KL Rahul scored a sparkling unbeaten 110-runs knocked off facing just 51-balls Including 12-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 215.68 but failed to chase just one-run short of victory and managed the 244-4 in the allotted 20-overs, Reply of West Indies 245 in the high-scoring game of the first T20I.
* KL Rahul equalled a 46-ball joint second fastest century in T20 international and became the fastest century by an Indian batsman in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 59-ball hundred held by Suresh Raina against South Africa at Gros Islet in 2010.
* 110 : KL Rahul became the highest-scorer for India in T20 international cricket history, beating Rohit Sharma's 106 against South Africa at Dharamsala in 2015.
KL Rahul who blasted his 1st T20 International century and his 100 came from 46-balls.
