Martin Guptill's record-breaking 189*, Half-centuries from Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor and Brendon McCullum's assault sets up to New Zealand comprehensive 86-run victory over England, despite a unbeaten century from Jonathan Trott and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in a historic game of the second ODI.

* New Zealand's 359 was their highest score against England in One-day internationals and also their highest total in England soil in ODIs.

* Martin Guptill plundered 189* was the highest score for New Zealand in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 172 held by Lou Vincent against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in 2005.

* Martin Guptill's 189* was the joint fifth highest individual score in One-day international, jointly with Viv Richards and Sanath Jayasuriya and the joint highest-score by any batsman against England in ODIs, jointly unbeaten 189 held by Viv Richards at Old Trafford in 1984.

* 120 : Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson set up the record second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against England in One-day international, previously held by the 104-run stand between Stephen Fleming and Hamish Marshall at Bristol in 2004.

* 120 : Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor set up the third highest third-wicket partnership for New Zealand against England in One-day internationals.

Martin Guptill's two centuries in three days was also a repeat of the feat achieved by Mark Greatbatch, the only other New Zealand batsman to score a one-day hundreds in England, when he notched back-to-back landmarks in 1990.

New Zealand scored mammoth total of 359-3 in 50 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 189 not out - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his second century against England in ODIs.

Ross Taylor struck 60 off 54-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 111.11, Kane Williamson cracked a 55 off 63-balls included 3-fours and Brendon McCullum hammered a unbeaten 40 off 19-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 210.52.

England best bowler by James Anderson took 2-wickets and one for Graeme Swann.

England scored 273 for all-out in 44.1 overs with top scorer by Jonathan Trott 109 not out off 104-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his first century against New Zealand in ODIs - including 5-fours 5 a six.

Alastair Cook struck 34 off 31-balls included 5-fours, James Anderson hammered a 28 off 19-balls included 4-fours with strike rate of 147.36.

Joe Root cracked a 28 off 27-balls including a boundary, Ian Bell scored 25 off 32-balls included 4-fours and Eoin Morgan 21.

New Zealand best bowler by Mitchell McClenaghan picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 8.1-overs, Kane Williamson takes two-wickets, Grant Elliott, Nathan McCullum, Doug Bracewell and Kyle Mills each took one-wickets.

Martin Guptill named Player of the match for record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 189-runs knocked off facing 155-balls including 19-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 121.93.
